Always watching, thinking, dreaming and creating on Stowell Farm
Sautéed onion, with a little pepper (sweet and hot cherry) and apple slices. Added Stowell Farm lamb sausage, a bit of cheese, milk and duck and chicken eggs. Garnished with pepper slices, pepper and coarse salts. Only thing I would have done differently is made the crust by hand (yikes! feeling guilty).
Thursday, I picked up a copy of Edible Green Mountains. Today, we found a little window to throw this together. Great recipe (which we adapted). Came out really well. Note, I added walnuts some fresh pear and golden raisins. Garnished the top with apples slices. Sometimes, I get to bake!
Born 10/29, Milkweed and Donkey head to the fields with their momma, Clover. Chester, the Ram, is beautifully protective.
Came home today to find this! Clover had two beautiful and healthy 10+ pound lambs. One male, one female. Yum! Thanks Clove... xo
The snow last week was surprising—and didn't really have any sort of pattern. It was lovely. Fell soft and strong—sometimes accompanied by sunlight breaking through the clouds. I grabbed my camera and ran around trying to capture the moments of snow-covered flowers and grasses and light sending shadows. It was...magical.

We are incorporated in the State of Vermont, have a Board of Directors and a written set of by-laws. In addition to soliciting our membership on an annual basis for dues to sustain our administrative services and publications, we write for grants to support our programs.
