Monday Harvest—Early August

Today, I dug into the garden. It's been a while—and there were some weeds and such...but really...everything has exploded! The sweet peas are still coming, the beans are here, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, beets, kale, chard, lettuce, mustard greens, acorn squash, zucchini, patty pan and more. And the herbs? Oregano, basil, thyme, lavender, rosemary, chamomile, horehound, fennel, milk thistle, cilantro and more... And the flowers? Calendula, shasta daisy, bee balm, yarrow, sweet william, rudebeckia, phlox, wild rose and...daisies, daisies, more daisies. Another season of it's own abundance.
