Lambing: 2015-2016 (What a GREAT year!)

It's such an alive and exciting time here at the farm. March lambing brings the idea of spring, life and abundance right to the forefront of our daily reality. We had two lambs in late October, 2015 and then again in late January—which kept a more upbeat tone to an odd winter scene. On February 28, Joe Emenheiser (Extension Assistant Professor: Livestock Specialist) trailered eight beautiful, bred, ewes from Mike Kirks farm in Charlotte). Now, we have ten lambs and probably four more to go. Cam took this picture yesterday. Many more to come. Keep an eye out for them: they are ridiculously, super cute.
